The story
- Pool
The century old redwood tree, growing through the center of the house, is a witness to everything that has happened here. Family, laughter, growth, ambition, creativity, marriage, parenthood, childhood, celebration, music, cooking, feasting, community, dancing (so much dancing), swimming, playing, reading, singing, resting, jumping (the former home of a trampoline), reaching, teaching, learning, feeling, yearning, stillness, chaos, tears (in joy and loss), exhilaration, disappointment, triumph, devotion, nature, nurture, transition, birth and light - metaphorically and literally - and, above all else, Love. Beginning again and again and again in a seemingly endless cycle of life - extraordinary and teeming with multitudes - saturating this home in the essence of everything that is meaningful. If energy and experience are what being alive is all about, then this house is the actual center of the Universe, over 2500 square feet, clad in aged cedar, on two lots/four parcels, a total of 12,000 square feet of land, in the middle of Laurel Canyon. A Unicorn. Legendary. Like no other.4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Bathrooms, Flat grassy yard, Pool, Hot Tub, Wonderland School District. Sale includes APN 5567-026-018, APN 5556-010-014.
