Some homes simply provide shelter. This one provided a life. Over the years, this home became the backdrop for everyday moments that mattered most, from quiet mornings filled with natural light to afternoons spent in the backyard enjoying the fresh air, mature trees, and rolling hillside views. The fenced backyard became a favorite place for the family dog to roam and explore, while the oversized lot offered room to spread out, unwind, and enjoy a sense of privacy that is increasingly difficult to find. One of the spaces we loved most was the sunroom just off the kitchen, where walls of windows blur the line between indoors and out and fill the home with light throughout the day. It served as a playroom, gathering space, and everyday retreat, but its possibilities are endless for future owners. We were drawn to the home's character from the beginning, from the original narrow-plank hardwood floors hidden beneath the carpet to the generous room sizes and thoughtful layout. The primary suite offers exceptional space, while the secondary bedrooms remain conveniently nearby. Over time, we thoughtfully invested in the home, updating major systems including the electrical and HVAC, not because we planned to leave, but because we planned to stay. Beyond the property itself, the location has been a gift. Easy access to Percy Warner Park made it simple to escape into nature, whether for a quick walk, a daily hike, or a chance to reconnect with the outdoors. The nearby community center, local businesses, fitness options, and everyday conveniences created a neighborhood that felt connected, welcoming, and easy to love. What we will miss most is the feeling this home created, the combination of space, light, character, nature, and community that made it such a special place to raise a family and build a life.
